Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on May 10th

DraftKings will have a six-game slate of Madden simulations on Sunday. The Cincinnati Bengals take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts at Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers at Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans, and Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots will all face off in the simulation. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can build your teams and set your lineup here.

Quarterback

Philip Rivers, Chargers ($6,900) at Eagles

The Eagles have the worst cornerbacks going on this slate and Rivers has been extremely trustworthy in these Madden simulations this offseason. His upside isn’t that of Lamar Jackson, but he gets a better matchup and has only dipped below 19 DK points once in his last seven games and has thrown three or more touchdowns in five of his last seven.

Jameis Winston, Buccaneers ($6,200) vs. Bengals

Winston has put up good numbers of late and probably has a better matchup than Rivers, as the Bengals don’t have one player in their secondary with a grade higher than 81. Winston has also topped 21 DraftKings points in three of his last four and has only fallen below 19 DK points three times in his last 10 matchups.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($7,700) at Titans

Jackson’s matchup is tougher than Winston’s and Rivers’, but he’s put up better numbers than every quarterback on this slate lately due to his rushing ability. You can’t really stack him with a receiver, but his high upside and consistency make him the safest play going today. He’s topped 21 DK points in each of his last five matchups and topped 28 DK points in two of those.

Running back

Leonard Fournette, Jaguars ($5,800) at Seahawks

Fournette’s price doesn’t match his production, as he’s had 16 or more DK points in seven of his last nine and has never missed hitting double-digits, unlike every other running back on the slate. Seattle’s defensive line is middling in comparison with the other defenses going today and really, there just aren’t any backs as consistent as Fournette.

Miles Sanders, Eagles ($5,100) vs. Chargers

Sanders has been up and down so far in these simulations but he has enough up games to keep him as a possibility with so few viable running back plays. Christian McCaffrey has more upside and is a little more consistent, but his price doesn’t reflect his production in these simulations so far, while Sanders’ price does. If you can safely pay up for McCaffrey, I’d take him over Sanders, but it depends on your lineup.

Wide Receiver

Keenan Allen, Chargers ($7,500) at Eagles
Mike Williams, Chargers ($4,500) at Eagles

Williams and Allen have been on a tear and shouldn’t be $3,000 apart. Allen has been more consistent, with 11 or more DK points in every matchup and 20 or more in the last three while Williams has been more inconsistent, but has had better upside. Williams has topped 33 DK points in three of his nine matchups and has never gone below nine DK points. With finishes of 21, 27, 37, 33 and 38 DK points in his last eight games, he’s your highest upside receiver on the slate and at a ridiculously low price.

D.J. Chark, Jaguars ($5,800) at Seahawks

Chark has been consistent lately, as he’s caught a touchdown in each of his last four games, with five total. He’s also only ducked below double-digit DK points once in his nine games. I don’t expect a huge game in Seattle, but I do expect a double-digit finish.

Breshad Perriman, Buccaneers ($3,000) vs. Bengals
Mike Evans, Buccaneers ($7,400) vs. Bengals

The Bengals have an awful secondary, which gives Mike Evans good upside despite his recent struggles. Besides the matchup, Evans has all of his touchdowns at home. He’s a good play, but his price is a little high for what he’s put on the board of late. But, the opposite is true of Perriman, who has topped 18 DK points in his last three, scoring a touchdown in each. Of course, before that, he had trouble hitting double-digit DK points. But, the matchup, bottom of the barrell price and recent production make him a player worth giving a shot today.

Tight End

Ben Watson, Patriots ($4,100) vs. Browns

The Browns have given up some big games to tight ends in these simulations and Watson has the most upside of any tight end going on this slate. He’s not consistent, and could give you a dud, but he has games with 27, 44, and 26 DK point. And, to be fair, he has just three duds in his ten matchups. I like his upside for a tournament like this one.

O.J. Howard, Buccaneers ($5,200) vs Bengals

Howard gets a nice matchup against the Bengals, and has 12 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. Howard is a nice way to get a little tournament upside on a guy who probably won’t be heavily rostered. Stacking Winston, Perriman/Evans, and Howard has plenty of appeal on a slate with Lamar Jackson and Philip Rivers likely getting the majority of the love.

Defense/Special Teams

Titans D/ST ($2,300) vs. Baltimore

Lamar Jackson puts up good DK points with his rushing yards and touchdowns, but he is also a turnover waiting to happen, with six interceptions and five lost fumbles. Getting points out of the simulation D/ST’s is tough, so those turnovers are one of the few things we can hang our hats on today.
