Captain’s Picks

Jameis Winston, QB, Buccaneers ($16,200)

Winston is prices but has the upside to back it up. The tandem of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on the outside gives him one of the best receiving corps in the game. Both have sure hands and Tampa Bay’s offense focuses on stretching the field by getting vertical. Cincinnati doesn’t have the defensive backs to keep up.

Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals ($10,800)

Boyd is the best value captain’s play in this one. He’s been more productive than A.J. Green for much less and could help you stack Winston with Evans and Godwin in the flex spots. If Boyd scores a touchdown, he returns decent value.

Flex Men

Ronald Jones II, RB, Buccaneers ($6,800)

Jones has shown some signs of life lately and has been able to reach the end zone on goal line plays. Even the Buccaneers will run the ball in the red zone. Jones could feed off the work of the passing game if one of his teammates downed inside the five-yard line.

John Ross, WR, Bengals ($4,800)

Ross doesn’t have the best hands, but his speed (97) ranks among the league leaders. Hauling in one long bomb returns value at his price. He caught a deep pass for a score against the Jaguars in his last sim and could do that again.
