10:15 p.m. ET: Collin And that’s going to do it for Night 1 here at WrestleMania. We’ll be back here tomorrow to do this again. Thanks for joining with us, and we’ll see you for seven more matches tomorrow!

10:07 p.m. ET: Vito: Corbin/Elias was the only match that was truly underwhelming for me, but the rest were good. The ladder match was an instant classic, Owens and Rollins was evenly matched, Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryant was fun. I’m going to replay the boneyard match immediately when it’s available. Have a helluva card for night two, looking forward to it.

10:06 p.m. ET: Cedric - Great set of first matches. I was definitely impressed.

10:00 p.m. ET: Seth: Well that’s it for night one. Pretty good set of matches tonight. No real clunkers apart from some odd finishes. We’ll be back tomorrow for night two.

9:58 p.m. ET: Vito: LOL Ok the hand coming out of the ground with the tombstone was a bit much, but this was awesome.

9:57 p.m. ET: Seth: Taker buries Styles...but this time literally. I want all Taker matches from here on out to basically be WWE versions of Unforgiven/John Wick.

9:53 p.m. ET: Seth: Don’t hurt Anderson and Gallows! Talk ‘n Shop just came back!

9:51 p.m. ET: Vito: This is a great contrast from what we’ve seen so far. Takes you away from the empty stadium and lets the WWE flex their production muscles. Plus someone needs to shut AJ up.

9:49 p.m. ET: Seth: I’m into this and it could be an interesting way to use Taker going forward. I like him in the “aged gunslinger” role.

9:47 p.m. ET: Cedric - I really hate it when the camera moves crazy with each punch.

9:45 p.m. ET: Seth: I haven’t been this excited by something at a graveside since Exotic Joe delivered his beautiful eulogy to Travis.

9:42 p.m. ET: Vito: Sound design and effects are real prevalent this match. This really feels like a film. Seth: This looks great too. Different than some of their other off-site matches.

9:39 p.m. ET: Vito: The haze is a-flowin’ in this here graveyard and biker Undertaker is baaaaaaack baby. Taker in control right now slamming Srtyles into the coffin he popped out of and the windshield of the hearse. Taker draws his own blood punching through a window when Styles ducked the blow. Barely phased him.

9:38 p.m. ET: Cedric - Oh man, stepped away to cook dinner and looks like I missed a hell of a match!

9:38 p.m. ET: Seth: Looks like we’re getting Biker Taker tonight.

9:37 p.m. ET: Vito: I’m so excited for this boneyard match boys......dammit AJ Styles ruined it by popping out of a coffin.

9:32 p.m. ET: Seth: *Randy Savage in Spiderman voice* Boneyard is reaaaadyyyyyyy. Taker vs Styles up next.

9:28 p.m. ET: Seth: That match may have changed my mind.

9:28 p.m. ET: Vito: Braun is surviving the early onslaught by Goldberg. Four spears. That would hospitalize mortal men. Then Braun hits Goldberg with four power slams and wins the title. LOL

9:25 p.m. ET: Seth: I don’t care what anybody says, I still love Goldberg. And nothing you can do will change my mind.

9:26 p.m. ET: Vito: Goldberg cashing in his social security checks, checks into the ring. Braun is 36 by comparison.

9:23 p.m. ET: Seth: Next up is Braun Stroman vs Goldberg. Collin, what’s the over under on total match time?

9:20 p.m. ET: Seth: Paul Heyman being interviewed, and stop me if you’ve heard this before, but he thinks rather highly of this Brock Lesnar fella.

9:18 p.m. ET: Vito: I can’t explain how much I love the 24/7 belt for the LOLS. Gronk almost gets it! (He’s totally gonna get it before this is all said and done methinks.) Yo DKNation can we make that a wager?

9:16 p.m. ET: Seth: R Truth is now with Gronk and Mojo telling them to be quiet while he is on a live mic...and Gronk goes for the cover but Mojo peels him off and takes over. Mojo is now the 24/7 champion and Gronk looks none to pleased. Set up for Gronk-Mojo at SummerSlam in Boston?

9:15 p.m. ET: Seth: Owens rolls Rollins into the ring and hits him with the stunner for the 1-2-3. KO wins.

9:13 p.m. ET: Vito: OH MY WHAT DID I JUST SEE. Owens ran backstage and got on top of the wrestlemania sign rather - and unrealistically - seamlessly and SLAMMED DOWN ONTO ROLLINS ON THE ANNOUNCER TABLE. THAT’S NOT RATED FOR THAT.

9:11 p.m. ET: Seth: And now the bell tolls for Rollins as Owens hits him with the ring bell. AND NOW OWENS IS JUMPING OFF THE WRESTLEMANIA SIGN ONTO A PRONE SETH ROLLINS LAID OUT ON THE ANNOUNCE TABLE. The senton connects and both men are in quite a bit of pain.

9:10 p.m. ET: Vito: Man Rollins has called out Owens’ family, called him fat, and now is using every steel prop to beat up Owens. Rollins sucks man. There’s some raw emotion here.

9:07 p.m. ET: Seth: Owens gets his bell rung by the ring bell and wins by DQ...Oh wait, KO gets on the mic and challenges Rollins to continue in a no-DQ match. I’m glad that wasn’t the finish.

9:07 p.m. ET: Vito: Whoa! Seth Rollins runs to the corner and slams the ring bell to Owens forcing a disqualification. Kevin Owens wins this one in a way he clearly is unhappy with. Oh hey he pulled a microphone outta somewhere! And now it’s a no-DQ match! Who needs release papers!

9:03: p.m. ET: Vito: Owens with a brutal senton onto Rollins and just narrowly misses the tap-out. Crazy sequence of events for these two.

9:02 p.m. ET: Seth: Rollins makes the classic villain mistake of too much monologuing. Owens catches him and may have turned this match around.

8:59 p.m. ET: Seth: Rollins delivers a brutal looking Falcon Arrow onto the apron. Match is delivering thus far. The trash talk back and forth has been fun.

8:54 p.m. ET: Seth: Rollins vs Owens is next. Seth would have definitely had a choir sing “Burn it Down” to bring him to the ring if this was a normal Wrestlemania, right? Maybe a little organ music.

8:53 p.m. ET: Vito: Another title retention. Makes you wonder... Granted that was definitely the best match of the card so far.

8:47 p.m. ET: Seth: All three men unhook the apparatus holding the belt. Jimmy Uso and Kofi give Morrison a double head-butt but Morrison snatches the belts as he falls onto Chekov’s ladder that was set up earlier in the match. Miz and Morrison retain.*

8:46: p.m. ET: Vito: Morrison looked like he had it, but again takes his sweet time up the ladder and Kofi makes his way to the top. Now Jimmy Uso is involved. Gearing up for a fun finish,

8:44 p.m. ET: Cedric - Kofi face first into the ladder. Damn...

8:42 p.m. ET: Seth: These guys are pulling out all the stops. I’m guessing we see a creative finish.

8:41 p.m. ET: Cedric - As entertaining as this match is... ladder matches aren’t as entertaining without a live audience. Hell... Any pro wrestling isn’t as interesting without a live audience...

8:40 p.m. ET: VITO: OMG MORISSON TIGHTROPES ACROSS THE TOP ROPE AND WHAT A FLIP OF KOFI ONTO THE MAT. I AM THOROUGHLY ENTERTAINED.

8:38 p.m. ET: Seth: Jimmy Uso tries to run across the top of the barricade and Kofi stops him by yeeting a ladder at his chest.

8:35 p.m. ET: Vito: OK that was some parkour athleticism from Morrison.....then he takes his sweet time getting the ladder up and Kofi with his own athletic move to careen Morrison off the ladder! Someone needs to gif that.

8:33 p.m. ET: Seth: Kofi does a drop kick through the ladder like something out of an early Jackie Chan movie.

8:28 p.m. ET: Seth: Next up is the triple threat ladder match for the Smackdown tag titles. Should be a spectacular display of athleticism. Vito: Or a giant OSHA violation.

8:26 p.m. ET: Vito: I’m agreeing with Seth here, what’s the O/U on belt changes this Wrestlemania? They gave us one with Women’s Tag Team, but the rest have stuck so far - with plenty of reason for rematch down the road.

8:25 p.m. ET: Seth: So how many of these finishes do we think are different than they were in February? There haven’t been many definitive finishes so far tonight. Are we in a Covid induced holding pattern in a lot of these feuds?

8:23 p.m. ET: Cedric - Wait, what just happened?!?

8:23 p.m. ET: Vito: Ugh that ending. That suuuuuuuuuucks.

8:21 p.m. ET: Vito: This match rules. Daniel Bryan wants this real bad. Just missing the “YES” chants.

8:20 p.m. ET: Seth: Bryan, Zayn, and the guys on the outside have done a great job adjusting to the lack of crowd. They are all being very loud and their dialogue is adding to the match.

8:19 p.m. ET: Cedric: Damn, this is good.

8:15 p.m. ET: Seth: El Generico looking more like El Generalissimo these days.

8:15 p.m. ET Vito: I don’t want to be a broken record, but this match with no crowd breaks my heart.

8:13 p.m. ET: Cedric -This is going to be a great match. Both are terrific wrestlers.

8:10 p.m. ET: Seth: Intercontinental title match up next. Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn. This one could be killer if given some time.

8:09 p.m. ET: Vito: Anti-climactic is right for that ending. A great concept. but just didn’t really sell it for me with all of the hype.

8:07 p.m. ET: Cedric - The finish was terrible.

8:07 p.m. ET: Seth: Somewhat anticlimactic finish to a fun match. That’s where you need the crowd pop to help sell the finish a little.

8:05 p.m. ET: Collin - Let’s just say these ladies are working a bit stiff. Yikes.

8:04 p.m. ET: Cedric - This is a hard match to enjoy. Not one of Becky’s best nights.

8:03 p.m. ET: Vito: Like Cedric and Seth said, this match really suffers from lack of allegiance from the audience. A huge lead up for this match, but this is definitely exciting. They clearly dislike each other.

8:01 p.m. ET: Cedric - Crowd reaction would really help drive excitement of the match.

8:01 p.m. ET: Seth: As Vito said earlier, having no crowd really allows you to hear from the referee in a way you can’t normally. It definitely adds a interesting element to the matches. No crowd does hurt though.

7:55 p.m. ET: Seth: If Becky can drive that semi in her full wrestling gear she really is The Man. I can’t even drive with my shoes on.

7:54 p.m. ET: Cedric - That would have been so cool at Raymond James Stadium.

7:54 p.m. ET: Seth: The Man arrives in her previously seen semi truck.

7:51 p.m ET: Cedric - Interesting card placement for the Becky/Shana fight... I guess they have to get people back into the card after a poor last match.

7:51 p.m ET: Is Becky vs Shayna next? Hmmm...

7:48 p.m ET: Cedric - Thankfully this is over. Elias with the pulling of the tights to get the pinfall.

7:48: p.m. ET: Vito: The ref caught King Corbin red-handed trying to pin Elias with the help of the rope and Elias took advantage. You don’t mess with Jessika Carr.

7:45 p.m. ET: Vito: The only thing about this match that’s interesting is how well Elias is wrestling in torn skinny jeans.

7:45 p.m ET: Cedric - Is there an over/under on the number of matches that involve a shirt ripped out of rage? we’re 2 for 2 tonight... Collin? Collin: It’s at 3.5 on in-game :)

7:45 p.m. ET: Seth This match needs an injection of Gronk like Gronk probably needs an injection of penicillin.

7:43 p.m ET: Cedric: I’m so not interested in this match. Both of these characters are so unimpressive.

7:37 p.m ET: Seth: If you had the over on .5 guitars being destroyed, you can cash your ticket.

7:37 p.m. ET: Vito: Ah, We’re doing the thing where we talk into a wireless mic to no one. OMG ELIAS IS HERE WITH A GUITAR.

7:35 p.m. ET: Vito: OK real talk, that was some great additive augmented reality set pieces for King Corbin. WWE knows production value that’s for darn sure.

7:35 p.m. ET: Cedric: Here comes King Corbin. Wife literally walked away while saying, I feel bad for his mother.

7:35 p.m: ET: Seth: King Corbin vs Elias up next. Will we get some Gronk in this match?

7:30 p.m. ET: Cedric: Nikki Cross with the Twisted Bliss to win the belt! Great overall opening match!

7:28 p.m. ET: Vito: Well that was illegal, but ya know what it was awesome.

7:27 p.m. ET : Seth: That near fall looked like the timing was a bit off. Kairi broke up the pin with an elbow off the top , but the camera cut was a little different than the normal broadcast. Trying to fix it in post I guess.

7:24 p.m. ET: Seth: Nikki Cross really selling her insanity by firing up the “crowd”.

7:24 p.m. ET: Cedric: Is Nikki Cross’ only move is to clap to get the crowd clapping too? oh wait, no crowd... Um... OK Nikki with the unzipping of the jacket a la Hulk Hogan shirt rip!

7:24 p.m. ET: Vito: Kabuki Warriors are in complete control of this match right now. So I expect Bliss/Cross to win.

7:22 p.m. ET: Seth: Double stomp from Kairi to Alexa off the top rope looked gnarly.

7:22 p.m. ET: Cedric: Holy crap, what a move from Kairi off the top rope onto Alexa.

7:19 p.m. ET: JBL on color commentary tonight. So much better than Corey Graves.

7;18 p.m. ET: Vito: You really notice the lack of crowd noise. Going to really focus on the performances here. It’s kinda funny listening to the ref “attempt law and order.” Feel like that’s lost when the crowd is going wild.

7:14 p.m. ET: Vito: Shout-out to the ‘Mania costume designers, y’all. That’s some amazing attention to detail for the Kabuki Warriors. This theatre guy is on-board.

7:12 p.m. ET: Seth: First match of the main card is the Kabuki Warriors defending their tag team titles against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

7:11 p.m. ET: Cedric - God I hate Mojo...

7:11 p.m. ET: Seth: Gronk doing his tribute to Tiger King with his jacket. Or maybe its Zubaz?

7:11 p.m. ET: Vito: GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK. Brady in Tampa, Wrestlemania supposed to be in Tampa....GRONK TO THE BUCS CONFIRMED.

7:08 p.m. ET: Cedric: Did someone say Kraken... the Seattle Kraken?

7:08 p.m. ET: Seth: I’m pretty sure i just saw Drew McIntyre Claymore kick a kraken. I’m ready Vito

7:07 p.m. ET: Vito: OK, I’m gonna go on the record and say this is some quality video production value. And mirroring what Seth says, I hear Nick Frost doing his best Jack Sparrow impression. Of course you close it with AC/DC’s For Those About to Rock (We Salute You.) I’m ready to kick through some walls right now.

7:06 p.m. ET: Seth: Is than Nick Frost I hear?

7:03 p.m. ET: Cedric: Montage of past performers of America the Beautiful to create a new performance.

7:02 p.m. ET: Seth: Broadcast opens with Stephanie McMahon addressing the camera and the odd circumstances surrounding ‘Mania this year. She’s really becoming the public face of the company more and more.

7:01 p.m. ET: Cedric: One can only wonder what the set at Raymond James Stadium would have looked like, and how the Pirate Ship would have been used...

6:55 p.m. ET: Collin: We got the matches for tonight! In some order:

Undertaker vs. AJ Styles

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler (Raw Women’s Championship)

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Daniel Bryan (Intercontinental Championship)

Morrison (c) vs. Kofi vs. Jimmy Uso (SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Ladder Match)

Elias vs. King Corbin

Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (Women’s Tag Team Championship)

Goldberg (c) vs. Braun Strowman (Universal Championship)

Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

6:45 p.m. ET: Vito: BATISTA GEARS FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE. SOMEBODY CALL POLYGON. What is this a crossover episode?

6:43 p.m. ET: Seth: The harmonica has to be one of the worst instruments to play during this Covid era, right? Is Baron Corbin trying get some of that Coronavirus heel heat? Vito: The bagpipes would like a word.

6:43 p.m. ET: Cedric: Wife just sat down on the couch for a hot minute, and observed King Corbin “singing”... She just says... “You think his mom is proud of him right now”?

6:43 p.m. ET: Vito: OK you lost me at the harmonica. #KIngCorbin

6:40 p.m. ET: Vito: The Tampa themes are still prevalent in the sword/flag symbol, treasure map wipes, the sea and ships. Shame this isn’t in Tampa, but nice to keep the theme to the event.

6:35 p.m. ET: Seth: Remember when I said Gulak vs Cesaro could be one of the better matches of the night? Well...hopefully I was wrong.

6:34 p.m. ET: Cedric: Cesaro wins via pinfall. Not gonna lie, it’s weird hearing them scream in pain with no crowd buzz.

6:30 p.m. ET- Seth: Drew Gulak vs Cesaro during the kickoff show. Could be one of the better matches of the night despite its placement.

6:20 p.m. ET Cedric: I turn on the preview to see Miz and Morrison rapping and I immediately look for something else for the next 40 minutes...

5:01 p.m. ET Collin: One of the things we’ll be following along with tonight is the WrestleMania Challenge contest presented by DraftKings. There’s still time to enter up until 7 p.m., and if you can answer the 12 questions about tonight’s action correctly, you can win $5000!
