The New York Giants and Miami Dolphins will face off in a Madden sim Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings before kickoff.
Daniel Jones, QB ($15,600)
Jones is limited with a 70 overall rating, but it has not impacted his production too much. He heads into this matchup averaging the most DKFP of either team. Most importantly, his Giants teammates are all healthy, which means he has a solid stable of above average weapons to throw to. Facing a bad Dolphins defense only helps matters.
DeVante Parker, WR ($14,400)
Parker is playing as well as most any receiver in these Madden sims. He’s scored at least 17.7 DKFP in five of his seven games thus far. His two down games were a combined 11.2 DFKP, and while that offers downside, we’ve seen him dominating to date with Ryan Fitzpatrick comfortable chucking it up. Considering Albert Wilson is the team’s next best receiver, Parker is a sure thing to get a lot of looks.
Darius Slayton, WR ($5,800)
He’s a boom-or-bust play through seven games. He has three performances of at least 19.2 points, and four performances in the single digits. He’s No. 2 on the depth chart, so the snaps will be there for him. Facing a bad Dolphins defense, there’s a lot of upside for a cheap price.
Mike Gesicki, TE ($8,000)
The Dolphins tight end is playing well in Madden, and it makes sense given the lack of passing options and the poor ground game. After DeVante Parker, there’s not a whole lot on the Dolphins depth chart. Gesicki has taken advantage of that in Madden.
