Wide receiver dynasty rankings for 2020 fantasy football

The NFL draft is over and the league is now flush with new, young wide receivers. In fantasy football dynasty leagues, wide receivers get a boost due to their longevity compared to running backs, but they also take longer to break out, giving us more time to consider moving on from them.

Players like CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy landed in spots that, if they were running backs, would kill their short-term value and hamper their longterm value, but as top wide receivers, they have a better shot at winning long term opportunity. Most rookie dynasty drafts will start off with running backs, but the true value is with wide receivers if you can hit the right ones.

The top dynasty receivers are the names you would expect. DeAndre Hopkins is one of the few receivers who can be traded but still end up ranked second in dynasty to the overly consistent Michael Thomas. It’s still weird to not have Antonio Brown in the top five, but he really went in on making his own bed. Anyway, the lack of help for Aaron Rodgers keeps Davante Adams as a target hog while the duo in Tampa Bay are the only two receivers in the top ten from the same team.

This might be the season that pushes Courtland Sutton, Calvin Ridley, DK Metcalf, Kenny Golladay, DeVante Parker or any rookie who dazzles into the Top-10. Of course, others can make that leap as well, which is why fantasy is so fun and frustrating.
