One of the great privileges of the NFL Draft is being picked last, where you are celebrated for bringing up the rear as in no other place in sports.

And the privilege for 2020 goes to Tae Crowder, linebacker from the Georgia Bulldogs heads to the New York Giants with the No. 255 and final pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. If you had a wager on this, him being a defensive player pays you at +100.

Congratulations to Crowder, as he’s he in for a treat. They throw you a parade. There’s a dinner and golf tournament in your honor. And you get a few days in Southern California during a beautiful time of year. There’s also the trophy.

It could be worse, and even if you don’t make the team you get a pretty good few days to enjoy.
