It was a rough 2019 for both teams that call MetLife Stadium home, but the 2020 NFL Draft gives both fan bases plenty of optimism for the future. So how will it go for both Broadway teams this weekend? You can play DraftKings New York Giants and New York Jets Draft Pool and pick some winners to find out!
To be victorious you’ll need to get as many of the questions below correct as possible, and we list all the questions below.
Who will the New York Jets’ first drafted player be?
CeeDee Lamb
Jerry Jeudy
Mekhi Becton
Tristan Wirfs
Any Other Player
The Jets are picking at #11 here, and had the league’s dead last offense in 2019. They need someone to protect Sam Darnold from seeing ghosts, so we think they go with an offensive tackle. Mekhi Becton from Louisville is likely to be there still if they don’t make a trade, so we think he’ll be the choice.
What position will the New York Jets’ first drafted player be?
Offensive Lineman
Wide Receiver
Cornerback
Defensive Lineman or Linebacker
Any Other Position
Paired with above, we think the Jets go OL.
What position Will the New York Jets’ second drafted player be?
Offensive Lineman
Wide Receiver
Cornerback
Defensive Lineman or Linebacker
Any Other Position
This is an offense that needs to get targets for Darnold as well, and this is as deep a wide receiver draft as we’ve seen in years. A guy like wide receiver Laviska Shenault from Colorado would be a great fit here, but even if it’s not him, we think GM Joe Douglas goes for a wideout.
What position will the New York Jets’ third drafted player be?
Offense
Defense
Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
What position will the New York Jets’ fourth drafted player be?
Offense
Defense
Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
Who will the New York Giants first drafted player be?
Jedrick Wills Jr.
Tristan Wirfs
Isaiah Simmons
Jeffery Okudah
Any Other Player
If anyone is going to screw up all your mock drafts, it’s Giants GM Dave Gettleman. His selection of Daniel Jones in the first round last year was an atrocity, even if Jones ends up becoming a pretty good player because of the lost value by not trading down to get him. Gettleman should want someone to protect his reach from last year, and that’s likely the best OL on his board. We bet that’s Tristan Wirfs from Iowa, but might be Jedrick Wills Jr. from Alabama.
What position will the New York Giants first drafted player be?
Offensive Lineman
Wide Receiver
Cornerback
Defensive Lineman or Linebacker
Any Other Position
Looks like OL either way for the G-Men here.
What position will the New York Giants second drafted player be?
Offensive Lineman
Wide Receiver
Cornerback
Defensive Lineman or Linebacker
Any Other Position
The next pick for the Giants for now is #36, and in a wide receiver deep draft we think they go here as well. A Denzel Mims from Baylor or Tee Higgins from Clemson would both fit the mold here.
What position will the New York Giants third drafted player be?
Offense
Defense
Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
What position will the New York Giants fourth drafted player be?
Offense
Defense
Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
