The Carolina Panthers have eight picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Carolina will select No. 7 overall after a pretty down season. It will be the first time the Panthers select in the top 10 since 2017, when the team selected RB Christian McCaffrey No. 8 overall.
The Panthers suffered a huge blow after the season when LB Luke Keuchley suddenly retired from football. It’ll be almost impossible to replace a captain and pro-bowler right away, but the draft is obviously the best place to do so. Ideally the No. 7 pick is used on a potential franchise inside linebacker for Carolina.
We’ll be tracking their picks throughout the three days of the 2020 NFL Draft, as well as any trades they make between now and the end of Saturday.
