The New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots will battle it out in a simulated Madden 20 game Tuesday. You can compete in an NFL DFS contests centered around the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest below. You can play at DraftKings.
Captain’s Picks
Tom Brady, QB, Patriots ($17,100)
Brady is a top five quarterback in the game and has short throw accuracy that’s only topped by Drew Brees and Patrick Mahomes. His receiving corps isn’t great, but his abundance of X-Factor and Superstar abilities makes him a wild card. He could take over any game he’s in.
Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints ($13,500)
Michael Thomas is the highest rated (99) wide receiver in the game and has the best catching (99), but he’s also the most expensive player available. He’ll be up against the best cornerback in the game though. That’s why a cheaper option like Kamara seems more suitable. He’s one of of the more lethal dual-threat running backs in the game.
Flex Men
Jared Cook, TE, Saints ($7,800)
Cook is the second best pass catcher in one of the NFL’s moss pass-centric offenses. New Orleans can move the ball against anyone. He should be most dangerous in the red zone, alongside Kamara.
James White, RB, Patriots ($8,400)
White is Brady’s second best pass catcher. The only running back with better catching is Christian McCaffrey. He can contribute on the ground and through the air. New England’s other running backs haven’t been nearly as productive.
