eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series Odds for today’s race at Richmond International Raceway

We take a look at the odds for today’s eNASCAR race, and make some picks as well.

The eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series has really taken off in popularity during the coronavirus crisis. DraftKings Sportsbook will have odds available in several states on the virtual race, while drivers compete in their homes via some pretty sweet setups for the fourth trophy of the season.

This weeks’ iRacing race is from Richmond International Raceway.

Denny Hamlin won at Homestad Miami, Timmy Hill at Texas Motor Speedway, and this week’s favorite William Byron was the victor at Bristol two weeks ago, who came from the iRacing ranks to start his career before he joined the NASCAR Cup Series in the #24 Chevrolet.

Here’s some of our best bets for this virtual race this weekend.

William Byron +170

It seems crazy that a guy getting under 2/1 should be a best bet in a 40-car field. And although Byron has won just one of the three races, he’s led the most laps by a a ton over everyone else. 116 of 150 laps at Bristol, 80 of 125 at Texas before the winner spun him out, and even 28 of 100 at Homestead to lead the race before getting wrecked with 21 to go. Byron’s experience in iRacing remains too big an edge for the field right now.

John H. Nemechek +1100

Ran 30th in the opener at Homestead, but started third and then second in the last two races, and finished second at Bristol two weeks ago. Nemechek qualifies really well, and that should serve him well here.

Bubba Wallace +5000

How good a story would it be for the sport if Wallace, who lost a sponsor via rage quit in the last race at Bristol, got back on the right side of everyone. He wasn’t exactly getting raced clean two weeks ago, and with the eyes of the racing world upon him after his thoughtful and personal comments regarding Kyle Larson last week, it would be great to see him find a way to the virtual podium. And you’d have to think his fellow drivers, with the extra anguish he’s taken this week about his place as the only minority driver in a Cup ride presently, might give him a smidge more room to run than at Thunder Alley a fortnight ago.
