The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals will face off in Friday’s first Madden sim at 5:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

Jameis Winston, QB, Buccaneers ($16,200)

Winston is the priciest option in the slate and will probably be the most popular captain’s pick in this simulation. He has two elite receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. The trio holds the top three spots in DKFP per game. Winston is averaging 252.7 passing yards and two touchdowns passes per simulation. It’s hard to compete with numbers like those.

Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers ($16,800)

Evans is even with Winston in DKFP per game (18.4). He’s also the highest rated player (92) in the game. While he will be matched up against Patrick Peterson, his ability to come down with the ball in traffic should help him be effective against Arizona.

Flex Men

Breshad Perriman, WR, Buccaneers ($3,600)

Tampa Bay has weapons all over and will surely throw the ball deep plenty. Perriman might be the most dangerous deep threat on the team. He might not be a starter, but his 95 speed can be lethal against any secondary.

Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals ($10,600)

Murray is an expensive flex play, but his price is reasonable. The quarterback can light it up with his arm or legs. He doesn’t have weapons like Winston, but he has a good chance to be Arizona’s most productive player.
