The sports world remains mostly on hiatus during the Covid-19 pandemic, but there are still a handful of sports leagues still keeping active. You can’t bet on all of them, but we have some options for you at DraftKings Sportsbook — and will continue providing updates each day as long as sports are in action during the pandemic.
Thursday, April 16th is a fairly busy day in the world of Ocho-style sporting events. Things get going right after 12 a.m. ET with Moscow Liga Pro table tennis. You can bet on it here. You have to get creative in your searching, but there are options for watching this version of ping pong. On the other hand, Setka Cup table tennis gets going in the early morning hours as well, and can be viewed here. DK Sportsbook offers odds on it in Pennsylvania, Indiana, New Hampshire, and West Virginia.
If you’re looking for some early morning basketball, check out the Chinese Taipei Super League. Yulon Dinos and Pauian Archiland square off at 4:55 a.m. ET, and you can place wagers here.
Belarussian Premier League soccer picks back up for its weekly three-day series of games Thursday through Saturday. They have matches at 10:30 a.m. and noon ET featuring Energetik BGU vs. Gorodeya and Dinamo Minsk vs. Neman Grodno, respectively. You can bet on either game here. There is also the Belarussian Reserve League, which you can bet on in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Finally, there are three esports leagues in action, which you can bet on in West Virginia. There are two League of Legends competitions — one the Challengers Korea (CK) LoL and one the LoL Champions Korea (LCK) — and then the Overwatch League. In CK, Asura takes on OZ Gaming at 1 a.m. and Seorabeol Gaming faces Brion Blade face off at 4 a.m. atop the standings. In LCK, Griffin faces Hanwha Life Esports at 4 a.m. and APK Prince faces Kingzone DragonX at 7 a.m. In Overwatch League, the Atlanta Reign face the Washington Justice at 7 p.m. and the Los Angeles Gladiators face the Los Angeles Valiant at 9 p.m.
