Tua Tagovailoa pro day video made available

Chris Mortensen got his hands on Tua Tagovailoa’s Pro Day video. We’re adding it as it comes available.

The NFL canceled pro days for 2020 NFL Draft prospects, but individual players are putting together their own private pro days to help teams with their assessments. For some players it’s more of a formality, while for other players, it might be enough to get them just drafted on day three — or at less signed as a priority undrafted free agent.

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa recently conducted his own workout and sent tape to teams around the league. Teams know what Tagovailoa can do as a football player. The bigger question for probably every team considering him is his hip injury. He dislocated his hip last fall, and while he appears to be on track to be ready for training camp with his new team, some if not all teams are probably at least a little bit wary given the inability for a formal in-person re-check.

That being said, the video is still worth a look, and ESPN’s Chris Mortensen got his hands on the Pro Day video from an NFL team. Mort posted seven clips of video, which we’ve embedded below. I imagine teams watching this will focus on anything that remotely resembles any kind of hitch in his giddy-up due to the hip injury.
