The Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Tuesday, and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.
Captain’s Picks
Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars ($14,400)
Gardner Minshew isn’t the best bet for a captain given his 69 rating. A player of his caliber could have a tough time against the likes of Chris harris Jr. and Justin Simmons in the secondary. Fournette is Jacksonville’s highest rated skill player though and has the kind of strength and stamina that will make him a threat throughout the game. The Jaguars have a solid option to pound the ground with if the aerial attack falls short.
Phillip Lindsay, RB, Broncos ($12,600)
I’m taking the same approach when it comes to the Broncos. Jacksonville’s secondary might be less threatening without Jalen Ramsey, but Denver doesn’t have a very impressive receiving corps. The consistent use of Lindsay’s 93 speed should be more effective than a quarterback with a 68 rating like Lock.
Flex Men
Noah Fant, TE, Broncos ($7,200)
Fant might only have a 75 rating, but he’s Lock’s second best target, behind Sutton. The tight end position can be tough to stop in Madden, so it’s only natural that Fant be included in the lineup when Denver has such limited talent out wide. Fant is the second fastest tight end in the game, so his ability to make things happen after the catch could be huge for Denver as well.
DJ Chark Jr., WR, Jaguars ($9,200)
Chark might be a little pricey, but he’s the best receiver the Jaguars have. His 94 speed gives him big play potential, and his 91 catching makes him a reliable option to haul in the targets he gets. There are only so many options with a real shot at putting up big numbers in this one, so you’ll have to choose one of the more expensive options as a flex.
