UPDATE: Halftime Recap — It’s awfully difficult to beat the Raptors this season regardless of the circumstances. Even though they are playing shorthanded, on the road, on the tail end of a back-to-back and dealing with a significant in-game injury, Toronto leads 57-51 at halftime. Serge Ibaka ($5,900), Kyle Lowry ($8,400) and Pascal Siakam ($8,700) all stepped up and are on track for big games. Ibaka leads the group with 27.75 DKFP.

UPDATE: March 9, 9:32 p.m. — Finally some good news for the Raptors! Anunoby will return to the game. He figures to play a big role as long as his ankle doesn’t act up since Powell is out and Fred VanVleet was also unable to play tonight.

The Toronto Raptors have had some awful injury luck this season. The team can never seem to stay healthy and it looks like they may have suffered another blow as Norman Powell (ankle) and OG Anunoby (ankle) were both forced to go to the locker room after a collision under the basket. Of the two, Powell appears to have suffered the more serious injury and had to be helped off the court. Toronto quickly ruled him out for the game after he left the court. He’s been on fire lately and is coming off winning the Eastern Conference Player of the Week Award.
