Here are five early value plays to consider at each position for Monday’s three-game fantasy basketball slate on DraftKings:

Point Guard

Eric Bledsoe, Milwaukee Bucks at Denver Nuggets ($5,700) — Giannis Antetokounmpo is out again on Monday, which makes Bledsoe a candidate to take on an expanded role. Antetokounmpo’s 36% usage rate is the highest among all regulars, usage that will be available for other players like Bledsoe to soak up. In minutes with Antetokounmpo off the court this season, Bledsoe’s usage rate rises to a heavy 32%, a huge spike from 20% in minutes with Antetokounmpo on the court. With Antetokounmpo out on Sunday, Bledsoe scored 43.75 DraftKings fantasy points (DKFP) after taking 19 shots, seven more than his season average of 12 shots per game. Despite the expected large boost in role, Bledsoe’s price tag remains significantly depressed and is tied for his second lowest price of the season.

Shooting Guard

Will Barton, Denver Nuggets vs. Milwaukee Bucks ($6,000) — Barton’s minute load is trending up after distancing himself from an injury absence, reaching 37 minutes in the Nuggets’ most recent game, the first time he has played over 35 minutes in about a month. The Bucks’ defense has not been nearly as strong without Giannis Antetokounmpo, allowing about eight more points per 100 possessions, and Barton had huge success against the Bucks in his previous meeting against them this season, scoring 48 DKFP in 33 minutes. Barton took advantage of the Bucks’ tendency to allow wide-open 3s in an effort to protect the basket, as Barton sank 6-of-9 3-pointers, one of his best long-distance shooting performances of the season.

Small Forward

Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets at Atlanta Hawks ($5,500) — Bridges lands in a good matchup against the Hawks, who have allowed the second most points to opponents while ranking third worst on the glass by the percentage of missed shots rebounded. The Hawks also play one of the faster paces in the league, which could help boost possessions for fantasy scoring.

Power Forward

PJ Washington, Charlotte Hornets at Atlanta Hawks ($5,600) — Like teammate Miles Bridges, Washington is set for a plus matchup against the aforementioned Hawks, who have been one of the league’s worst defensive teams and worst rebounding teams. Washington has been a steady source of minutes, averaging about 31 minutes per game, and has scored more than 30 DKFP in three straight games.

Center

Brook Lopez, Milwaukee Bucks at Denver Nuggets ($5,100) — Lopez is another Bucks player is who is a candidate to benefit from expanded usage due to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence. Lopez’s usage rate rises from a subpar 15% in minutes with Antetokounmpo on the court to an above average 21% in minutes with Antetokounmpo off the court. With Antetokounmpo out on Sunday, Lopez scored 29 DKFP and took 14 shots, five more than his season average of nine per game.
