Patriot League quarterfinal between Lehigh vs. Colgate game delayed because of bent rim

This is a thing that’s happening.

Welp, this doesn’t happen every day.

The Patriot League quarterfinal game between No. 8 Lehigh and No. 1 Colgate is in a delay because the rim is bent at Reid Athletic Center. Right now it’s scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. (UPDATE now 7:33 p.m.), but we have no idea if that’s also on-time.

Also we can confirm the rim was bent upwards, so it wasn’t due to a thunderous dunk in a league that often limits athletic scholarships.

We’ll have more info as we get it, but if you’re wondering where the action is... it’s on Stadium Network, who cut away because of the delay.

We’ll update here if we find out more!
