The San Diego State Aztecs could be without their starting guard KJ Feagin in their first game of the Mountain West tournament with an ankle injury on Thursday afternoon against the Air Force Falcons.

San Diego State head coach Brian Dutcher told San Diego sports station XTRA 1360 that Feagin practiced on Wednesday and expects him to start.

Feagin started all 29 games this season for San Diego State and is averaging 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

San Diego State is listed by various sports books as 17-point favorites as the No. 1 seed in the Mountain West against ninth-seeded Air Force. These two played just one game during the season, an 89-75 road victory for San Diego State on Feb. 8. Feagin led the Aztecs with a 21-point performance on 7 of 11 from the floor and knocked down five 3-pointers.
