Here are value players to consider for tonight’s four-game basketball slate on Draftkings.
Chris Boucher, PF/C, TOR at GSW ($4,300)
There are some moving parts here. Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol are both questionable to play for the Raptors tonight after missing an extended period of time. During the time they have been out, Boucher hasn’t played a ton, but that changed last game. With Toronto trailing to the Phoenix Suns, it turned to Boucher to start the second half. He powered a comeback and the Raptors ended up winning as Boucher finished with 45.75 DKFP. He’s earned himself extended run if Ibaka and Gasol remain out.
Cody Martin, SG/SF, CHA vs. DEN ($4,500)
Another player who could stands to benefit from an injury situation, Martin started in place of Devonte’ Graham on Tuesday and scored 27.75 DKFP. He played 34 minutes and Graham remains questionable. If he’s ruled out, Martin should stick in the starting lineup. His brother, Caleb Martin would also be a viable value option if Graham is unable to play.
Cody Zeller, C, CHA vs. DEN ($4,300)
The Hornets’ center situation is weird, to say the least. After a three-game stretch as a DNP-Coaches decision, Zeller not only returned to the rotation last game, he started. Bismack Biyombo had been starting and took Zeller’s role at the end of the bench. For now, I assume that Zeller will draw another start, a role he’s averaging 25.39 DKFP. If he doesn’t, he’s at risk of playing 0 minutes, but we could consider Biyombo as a value play if he’s named the starting center. To summarize, roster the starting center for the Hornets and fade the center coming off the bench.
Paul Millsap, DEN at CHA ($4,600)
Occasionally the plays that are seemingly the least exciting have the most value. This is the case for Millsap, who remains cheap despite playing fairly well when healthy. He’s coming off of a 32.75 DKFP outing and averages 24.82 DKFP for the season. This makes the veteran a bit underpriced in an easy matchup against the Hornets.
