Injury status of Georgetown’s Mac McClung, Omer Yurtseven for Wednesday’s game against Creighton [UPDATE]

Georgetown is in danger of its top two scorers sitting out of Wednesday night’s Big East matchup with Creighton.

The Georgetown Hoyas will enter Wednesday night’s matchup against the Creighton Bluejays likely without their two best scorers Mac McClung and Omer Yurtseven.

McClung is doubtful with an injured foot, and injuries have led him to missing nine games total so far this season. He last played against the Providence Friars with on Feb. 19 and is in danger of missing his fourth consecutive game.

Yurtseven is doubtful with an injured ankle and appeared in one game since Feb. 8. He could miss his third straight game on Wednesday night.

McClung is averaging 15.7 points per game and with 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals this season for the Hoyas. Yurtseven averages a team highs in scoring average with 15.8 points per game and rebounding with 10 per matchup.

In the last two games without their leading scorers, Georgetown lost 93-72 to Marquette on the road and was defeated by Xavier 66-63 at home Sunday. The Hoyas come into Wednesday night’s game as 12-point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook. Georgetown is 2-6 against the spread in its last eight road games, while Creighton is 5-1 against the number in its last six.
