Texas back?? Matt Coleman’s III 3-pointer keeps Longhorns NCAA hopes alive [VIDEO]

The Longhorns win their fifth straight on a ridiculous three-point bank shot with 0.4 seconds left and get back on the bubble.

TEXAS BACK? It’s not a meme, it’s a real question now.

And it’s because of Matt Coleman’s miracle-off-balance-bank-shot-three-pointer with 0.4 seconds left for a Texas Longhorns 52-51 win over their rival Oklahoma Sooners in Norman tonight.

Think he called bank? Probably not. But did he call game??

If Texas does somehow salvage their previous disaster of a season and get back to the NCAA Tournament, it will be one of the biggest turnarounds in major college basketball in recent memory. It’s their fifth-straight win, and third-straight over a Quadrant 1 opponent. They’re now 19-11, 9-8 in the Big XII. They could actually do this.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention OU’s Krisitan Doolittle missing BOTH free throws. One would have forced overtime, and two would have sealed it. But it appears the recent wave of burnt orange Karma putting a lid on the rim.

The Longhorns were the laughing stock of Big 12 basketball three weeks ago. Now they’re back on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament after a 52-51 win over Oklahoma on Tuesday night in Norman.

Shaka Smart, no longer a dead coach walking, and his charges were catching seven points on DraftKings Sportsbook at tip-off, and +250 on the money line. Cash that ticket with an extra fist pump.
