There are eight games on tap for Tuesday’s main NBA slate on DraftKings Tuesday. We went through who the top fantasy basketball and DFS targets could be at each position. Here are the players we think will make a splash:
Point Guard
LeBron James, LAL vs. PHI, $11,400 — James will face a Philadelphia team that’s missing both its best defenders. The versatile Ben Simmons is out with a back injury and Joel Embiid won’t be protecting the pain because of a shoulder sprain. None of the 76ers wings are equipped to deal with James, who is fresh off a triple-double performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Other Options: Jrue Holiday, NOP vs. MIN, $7,900; Chris Paul, OKC vs. LAC, $7,500
Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal, WAS vs. SAC, $10,400 — Beal has scored more than 40 points three times in his last five games and will have desirable matchups against the likes of Bogdan Bogdanovic and Buddy Hield. Beal is lighting it up from three and has been a monster on the defensive end with steals as well. Sacramento ranks 22nd against shooting guards when it comes to fantasy production, so an elite player like Beal will most likely have his way.
Other Options: DeMar DeRozan, SAS vs. CHA, $7,400; Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. BKN, $7,100
Small Forward
Kawhi Leonard, LAC vs. OKC, $9,400 — Leonard should benefit from facing one of the least impressive small forward rotations in the NBA. Oklahoma City might have to utilize Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Luguentz Dort against Leonard, and neither is physical enough to keep up with him for the entirety of a game. Leonard should use his strength to dominate on both sides of the ball and on the boards.
Other Options: Brandon Ingram, NOP vs. MIN, $7,800; Tobias Harris, PHI vs. LAL, $8,400
Power Forward
Zion Williamson, NO vs. MIN, $7,700 — Williamson hasn’t dipped below 30 DKFP in his last 10 games. Over the course of his last five games, he’s shooting 64% from the field. Juancho Hernangomez won’t be a match for the star rookie on the block or in transition.
Other Options: Pascal Siakam, TOR vs. PHX, $8,700
Center
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. GS, $9,400 — Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender won’t be able to contain Jokic’s complete game. He orchestrates Denver’s offense and crushed the Toronto Raptors by recording 23 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists in his last outing. The Warriors are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, so don’t expect them to slow down one of the best big men around.
Other Options: Deandre Ayton, PHX vs. TOR, $8,400
