UPDATE: 4/4 Kevin Owens defeats Seth Rollins by disqualification pinfall

After a back-and-forth match, Seth Rollins hit Kevin Owens with the timekeepers bell which forced the disqualification. But as he headed back to the locker room, Owens told him to come back and finish the fight with no disqualifications and no count outs the rest of the way.

Rollins couldn’t resist, and came back to give Owens even more hits with the bell and a steel chair. But eventually the tide turned, and Owens pulled off the biggest spot of ‘Mania so far as he jumped off the WrestleMania sign and put Rollins through the announcers table. He rolled Rollins back into the ring, delivered a stunner, and KO got his WrestleMania moment finally.

We’ve seen plenty of Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for several years, but it’s a feud that’s certainly evolved. It used to be Rollins as the good guy and Owens the egotistical heel, but now the roles have reversed. But who will walk away the big winner at WrestleMania 36?

Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

How did this feud develop

It started at the Raw after Survivor Series, where the Monday Night Messiah decided to chide the entire red team locker room. But there was one man that didn’t run back to the locker room and ignore the pleas of the self-proclaimed leader Rollins. And that was KO, who used the opportunity to let him know what he thought of the motivation.

Seth and his “goons” Murphy and AOP spent a bunch of time roughing up Owens at every opportunity, while Owens would interfere and cost them Rollins and Murphy the Raw Tag Team belts.

Of course Rollins challenged Owens at Mania, and KO accepted.

Where this feud stands now

In one of the best promos we’ve seen from The Architect in awhile, on the last Monday Night Raw Seth really laid it on Kevin and said he wouldn’t exist without Rollins. Having Raw without audiences due to coronavirus has been a bit awkward at times, but this was really good.

The pick

Kevin Owens has been one of the more popular superstars since his arrival, and the way this story has been told leads you to believe that Rollins’ ego is just getting too big. We’ll go with Owens here, but if The Architect does win, it’s not likely to be without assistance from Murphy or AOP.
