Assessing injuries for the Indiana Pacers during the break

Health in the back court is key for the Pacers during the break. We take a look at their injury report.

If the season ended after the break and we went right into the postseason, the Pacers would probably be feeling pretty good about themselves. Despite playing without Victor Oladipo for most of the regular season, Indiana finds itself in the No. 5 seed at 39-26. The Pacers had won six of eight games before coronavirus put the League on pause. Injuries keep piling up, though, and it’s unclear if the Pacers would have been able to endure them had the season not been put on hold. Now with the time off Indy can get somewhat healthy.

Jeremy Lamb (knee) — Out for season

It’s worth noting that TJ Warren and Victor Oladipo had been in and out of the lineup along with Doug McDermott. So this break is pretty beneficial for the Pacers (albeit a tough time for everyone). McDermott, Warren and Dipo can take the time to get fresh while Brogdon shakes off his quad injury. Going into the postseason, possibly in June, would be ideal with a healthy back court.
