XFL statistical leaders heading into NFL free agency

XFL players can sign with NFL teams starting at 9 a.m. ET on Monday, March 23rd. We break down the best options available across skill positions.

The XFL officially cancelled its season late last week, and after some negotiations with the NFL, XFL players are free to sign with NFL teams on Monday, March 23rd. After a week of limbo, the NFL announced that its clubs could start signing XFL players at 9 a.m. ET today.

The season got through five weeks, which leaves us with a limited sample size for analysis. Even still, there were some impressive performances that should land XFL players on the radar of NFL clubs. There was already a report that P.J. Walker is drawing interest from the Seahawks, Cardinals, and Broncos. Plenty more should follow after 9 a.m.

We’ve already taken a position-by-position look at some of the top skill position players. The quarterback position is led by P.J. Walker, Jordan Ta’amu, and Josh Johnson . The running back position is led by James Butler, Jacques Patrick, and De’Veon Smith . The wide receiver position is led by Cam Phillips, Nelson Spruce, Tre McBride, and converted tight end Donald Parham.
