We are just 12 days from Night 1 of the two-night WrestleMania 36, live from the WWE Performance Center off Colonial Drive in a decrepit part of Orlando, Florida.
Tonight’s Raw, the longest-running weekly show in cable tv history, will be the penultimate before The Showcase of The Immortals. Let’s take a look at who we know is appearing tonight, and
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman will appear ahead of their match against Drew McIntyre for the strap at ‘Mania. There are plenty of reasons to tune into the show, but a promo from the former Paul E. Dangerously is always worth a watch or a DVR.
McIntyre will appear as well, so we’ll see what the interaction is between him and the man he chose to take on after his Royal Rumble win. The Scottish Superstar seems to be the future of the company, but is getting a much better reception from the WWE Universe than previous grapplers in his position. That’s back when we still had Raw in front of crowds.
And we also know Randy Orton is scheduled to appear, likely to answer the challenge from Edge for a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania. We’re gonna bet if a man grabs a microphone and is scheduled to appear, the history of wrestling is pretty consistent that he’s going to say yes. If you can point to a booking where someone turned down a challenge publicly, please let us know.
And to be honest, this is the best one we’ve seen lately.
We’ll see what happens tonight on the USA Network at 8 p.m.
