The Los Angeles Clippers haven’t been the juggernaut we all thought they’d be heading into the 2019-2020 season. That didn’t stop a DraftKings Sportsbook user from making a massive wager on the Clippers to win the Western Conference on Monday. The bettor threw down $976,000 on Kawhi Leonard and Co. to advance to the Finals in June at +230 odds. Here are the details, per David Payne Purdum:

The Clippers have the second-best odds to win the West behind the Lakers, who are No. 1 at +150. Realistically, the Clippers only competition to win the conference is the Lakers. So if you think Kawhi and Paul George can take down LeBron James and Anthony Davis in a best--of-7 series, these are pretty decent odds. My take is the Clippers should probably be closer to even odds with the Lakers to win the West, so there’s value here.
