Göztepe is a mid-table side in Turkey’s top division nicknamed “Göz Göz” who just got back to the top-flight in 2016. They won the whole thing in 1950, and are in eighth place currently in the 18-team Super Lig: too far from a top-four place in Europe, too safe from relegation as of now. They also just moved into a new stadium in January.
Çaykur Rizespor is in relegation danger however, as they sit in 16th place on 25 points with nine matches remaining. It’s a mess at the foot of the table, and these are three points they could use. They’ve been in the Super Lig since 2013, and “Çaykur” is actually the name of a tea company and the club sponsor.
Argentina Primera B: Gimnasia y Esgrima Mendoza vs Sarmiento, 4:45 p.m.

Does a little second-division Argentinian soccer tickle your fancy? With 10 games remaining in the season, Gimnasia y Esgrima Mendoza sits in seventh place in the 16-team Primera B on 27 points. But they’re only five points clear of the drop, and seven points away from promotion. Meanwhile Sarmiento is from Buenos Aires, and sit in third with a game in hand on all their competition. They’ve got a chance to return to Primera A for the first time since 2015.
Turkish Super League Basketball: Anadolu Efes vs. Bursaspor, 1:00 p.m.
No odds on this one yet, but Anadolu Efes are the Lakers of the Turkish Super League: 14-time champions with a total of 37 domestic trophies. And it shows with the quality of players they bring in from abroad: Former UMiami point guard Shane Larkin, Dallas Mavs gunner Roddy Beaubois, and Washington Wizard/FSU Seminole Chris Singleton are all on the roster. They’re also in second place, but a win puts them top of the league at 21-2 ahead of Pınar Karşıyaka at 20-3.
Bursaspor has former Baylor star Perry Jones III and Gerald Robinson from Georgia, but they’ll be underdogs in this one as they sit 10th in the 16-team league at 11-11 with a -67 point differential this season.
