Wide receiver rankings for XFL Week 6

We take you through some of the best wide receiver going into Week 5 of the XFL for fantasy football.

The rumors of Cam Phillips demise have been greatly exaggerated. Not that anyone really thought he was going to go into a slump after one down game, but if they did, he showed them that he remains the best in the league with two more touchdowns last week, giving hi nine on the season. Tre McBride has been his main competition of late, and he scored a touchdown last week, giving him one or more in every game he’s played. Both make for high-upside picks and are almost interchangeable with McBride having a better matchup.

The matchup with Seattle has me high on all the Wildcats receivers with McBride, Jordan Smallwood and Saeed Blacknail all useful fantasy receivers. Of course, we need to keep on eye on Nelson Spruce’s status as the week goes on. If he can get a full week of practices in, he’ll likely play and push Blacknail out of the picture.

Jalen Tolliver and Reece Horn continued to see good usage and both finally got a touchdown while Dan Williams also put up a good game sans a touchdown. These three all rank in the Top 5 in targets, as the Vipers don’t use other receivers all that often. Maybe now that their offense is going, we can get more out of them than receptions.
