UPDATE: 8:19 p.m. It looks like Green is going to be able to go for the Hooisers tonight.

Devonte Green is currently listed as questionable with an ankle injury as the Hoosiers look ahead to their match up with Nebraska on Wednesday night. Green apparently tweaked his ankle in the first half of their game against the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, March 7. Green scored 16 points in the first half of that game, but his ankle stiffened up and he failed to score at all in the second half. Indiana ultimately came up short that game, as they lost with a final score of 56-60. Green missed practice on Monday following the injury and his practice status for Tuesday is unknown at this point.

Green is Indiana’s second leading scorer, averaging 10.8 points per game. He also adds 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. The 6’3” guard is the team’s second best 3 point shooter, with 36.3% shooting percentage from beyond the arc this season.

While Green has not fared well when playing Nebraska this season, averaging only 4.0 points per game in their first two match-ups, the team will certainly want him available as tournament play begins. Indiana enters the tournament as the No. 11 seed, while Nebraska comes in at No. 14. Indiana was victorious in each of these two teams’ prior meetings this season, as they won 96-90 on December 13 and pulled out a win once again with a final score of 82-74 on January 18.

Indiana enters this game as 14-point favorites with the over/under set at 144 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Indiana is 4-2 against the spread in its last six games and won four of its last 12 straight up. The Cornhuskers lost 16 consecutive games with their last victory coming on Jan. 7 at home against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Nebraska is 1-6 against the spread in its last seven games.
