DC Defenders official Week 1 depth chart

XFL’s DC Defenders have released their Week 1 depth chart for all your DFS needs.

For those of us preparing for XFL DFS, there is some good news. We have official depth charts! With such new teams these depth charts will likely change quickly, but this should be how they start out Week 1, which will help us a lot when trying to set our lineups.

Cardale Jones leads the team at quarterback and has the arm and legs to help them move the ball. He also has a good group of receivers to throw to and a QB whisperer in Pep Hamilton to guide him.

Jhurrel Pressley will be the lead back. He led the AAF in rushing yards at a decent 4.5 yards per carry. The team does have four total running backs, so we could see Donnel Pumphrey and others cut into Pressley’s work, but he should see the majority of the carries.

Rashad Ross broke out last year in the AAF, but is listed as DeAndre Thompkins’ backup. Ross was traded for Tre McBride on January 12th, which seemed like an odd trade, but we have no real information on why it happened or why Ross is behind Thompkins. The good news for Ross in Week 1 is that Thompkins is out with an injury, so he should be able to get work no matter.

With Thompkins out, Malachi Dupre is the only healthy starting receiver. For some reason they have only listed two starting receivers though, and we know Hamilton will have more than that usually.
