Tampa Bay Vipers official Week 1 depth chart

XFL’s Tampa Bay Vipers have released their Week 1 depth chart for all your DFS needs.

For those of us preparing for XFL DFS, there is some good news. We have official depth charts! Well, not all of them yet, but they are hitting the internet and we’ll get them to you here. With such new teams these depth charts will likely change quickly, but this should be how they start out Week 1, which will help us a lot when trying to set our lineups.

Aaron Murray was named the starter a while back, so him being atop the quarterback list isn’t a surprise. Murray doesn’t do much with his legs, so he’ll likely rely on his receivers more than some quarterbacks in the league.

Quinton Flowers is third on the quarterback depth chart but could be used all over the field in a Taysom Hill kind of role, but we just don’t know how many touches he will get yet.

The running backs are led by De’Veon Smith, but some reports have the backfield being more of a committee. The back who gets the receiving work in this offense will likely have the most value, as Marc Trestman loves passing to his backs. That will be either Smith or Patrick, as none of these backs were asked to do much receiving in college, but they are the two with the most experience.

With Antonio Callaway on I.R. Jalen Tolliver, Reece Horn and Dan Williams are currently pegged as the starters and all three could have value in Week 1 at their cheap DFS prices. This group will likely shift throughout the season, but this is how they will start.
