The Washington Wizards are trading SG Jordan McRae to the Denver Nuggets for PG Shabazz Napier, The Washington Post’s Candace Buckner reported. It appears that this is a straight one-for-one trade.

McRae has had a breakout season for the Wizards in his fourth year in the NBA. He’s averaging 12.8 points per game over 29 games (four starts). McRae is shooting 37.7% from 3-point range, so he adds another shooter and scorer off the bench for the Nuggets. The Wizards get another PG to put behind Isaiah Thomas and Ish Smith.
