We’ve got our first WOJ BOMB of the day! D’Angelo Russell is headed to the Timberwolves in a deal for Andrew Wiggins and draft picks. Here are the details:
Golden State has agreed to trade D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota for a deal that includes Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to Timberwolves too.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2020
So here’s the general outline of the deal:
Warriors receive: Andrew Wiggins, 2021 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick
Timberwolves receive: D’Angelo Russell, Jacob Evans, Omari Spellman
Update, 1:39 p.m. — The Clippers and Knicks are engaged in talks for Marcus Morris, per Shams.
Clippers and Knicks are seriously engaged in talks that would send Marcus Morris to the Clippers, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Two young players potentially involved to New York: Clippers' Mfiondu Kabengele and Terrence Mann.

— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) February 6, 2020
Update, 12:40 p.m. — The Clippers are trading G Derrick Walton Jr. to the Hawks, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Clippers are trading G Derrick Walton Jr., to the Atlanta Hawks for cash, league sources tell ESPN.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2020
This is a minor trade since Walton was low on the depth chart at guard for L.A. It also helps the Clippers clear a bit of salary to make a run at adding a veteran piece to its roster for the title run. Walton’s contract is worth $1.4M this season on an expiring deal.
Update, 12:20 p.m. — Is an all out Bulls exodus about to go down? Not likely, but the Sun Times is reporting that Lauri Markkanen among other players isn’t particularly happy and that the team should look to clean house. It may not come before the deadline at 3:00 p.m. ET, but we’ll keep an eye on Chicago. Denzel Valentine has also popped up in trade rumors.
Hearing @suntimes_hoops say on @670TheScore that Lauri Markkanen wants out and will leave the Bulls ASAP if nothing changes confirms what I've already heard elsewhere.
— Matt Peck (@Bulls_Peck) February 6, 2020
He's miserable. Many on the team are miserable. And the Reinsdorfs have to fix this.
Clean. House.
Update, 12:13 p.m. — Woj has the full details on the Heat-Grizzlies trade:
Miami has agreed to trade Justise Winslow, Dion Waiters and James Johnson to Memphis for Andre Iguodala, Solomon Hill and Jae Crowder, league sources tell ESPN. No picks in the deal.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2020
Update, 11:58 a.m. — Woj has some more details on the Heat-Grizz-Thunder saga. Apparently the Thunder are not ready to jump in and include Danilo Gallinari, but talks are ongoing.
Memphis and Miami are focusing on a two-team deal on Andre Iguodala, with Miami and Oklahoma City still unable to reach an agreement on a three-team trade that would land Danilo Gallinari with the Heat, league sources tell ESPN. Talks are fluid until 3 PM.

Here’s a good overview of the moving parts, courtesy of Anthony Chiang:
What we know for now ...

Waiters ($12.1 million) and Winslow ($13 million) to the Grizzlies.
Iguodala ($17.2 million), Hill ($12.3 million), and Crowder ($7.8 million) to the Heat.
There has to be another piece in trade to make numbers work if two-team deal. https://t.co/5qmaOYLhdD
Update, 11:48 a.m. — Jae Crowder has been traded to the Heat as part of the Iguodala deal, per Shams. Charania is also reporting that Solomon Hill is headed to Miami as well.

Update, 10:56 a.m. — It’s looking like the Pistons will hold onto both Andre Drummond, Derrick Rose and Markieff Morris heading into the deadline at 3:00 p.m. ET, per Yahoo Sports’ Chris B. Haynes and Keith Smith.
As @ChrisBHaynes reported, Andre Drummond is likely to remain a Piston, and it's looking similar for Derrick Rose and maybe Markieff Morris too. Detroit has set an asking price and isn't really moving off it. A lot can change in a few hours, but right now Pistons holding pat.
— Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) February 6, 2020
Apparently a sign-and-trade is the only possibility but would be a long shot, per Rod Beard.
A sign-and-trade for #Pistons Andre Drummond is a small possibility, but not likely because he hasn't opted-in.
— Rod Beard (@detnewsRodBeard) February 6, 2020
Another team wouldn't have to trade for him in the summer because the #Pistons wouldn't have his rights.
The Pistons also got an offer for Christian Wood from the Celtics, but didn’t budge, per James Edwards III.
The #Celtics made an offer for the #Pistons’ Christian Wood. Detroit wasn’t interested in that offer, per a source.

Update, 8:41 a.m. — There was a lot of action overnight with the Heat-Grizzlies-Thunder three-way deal. Andre Iguodala is going to Miami and Danilo Gallinari is joining him it seems. We don’t know all the details of the trade, but we know the Heat want to sign Gallo to an extension, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Miami and reps for OKC’s Danilo Gallinari were working on a contract extension overnight to help finalize three-team trade, league sources tell ESPN. The challenge: Miami’s desire to preserve cap space for 2021. He can become a free agent this summer.

We’ve already had a handful of deals go down prior to Thursday. Here’s a recap of a few:
Four-team, 12-player deal featuring Clint Capela, Robert Covington
Rockets receive: Covington, Jordan Bell
Hawks receive: Capela, Nene
Timberwolves receive: Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez, Evan Turner, Jarred Vanderbilt, first-round pick
Nuggets receive: Shabazz Napier, Keita Bates-Diop, Gerald Green, Noah Vonleh, first-round pick
Report: Andre Iguodala traded to Heat
Heat receive: Iguodala, Crowder, Hill
Grizzlies receive: Justise Winslow, Waiters
Note: Dion Waiters and James Johnson may be involved in the deal. There was also a rumor that the Thunder will make it a three-way deal, sending Danilo Gallinari to the Heat.
It’s now looking like a three-team trade with a lot of moving parts. Brace yourselves.
Here's one key to getting this three-team deal done and Gallinari to Miami, league sources tell ESPN: Can OKC get Miami to lift the protections on a 2023 first-round pick the Heat owe the Thunder? The pick was originally protected in the top 14. https://t.co/6FMHjDieKI
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 6, 2020
Report: Dewayne Dedmon heading back to Atlanta
Hawks receive: Dedmon
Kings receive: Jabari Parker, Alex Len, two second-round picks
