The Golden State Warriors are trading G Alec Burks and G/F Glenn Robinson III to the Philadelphia 76ers for draft compensation, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported early Thursday.

The Sixers address a major need by adding two outside shooters in Burks and Robinson. Burks is averaging 16.1 points per game playing mostly off the bench. He’s a strong 3-point shooter at a 37.5% clip on the season. Burks gives the Sixers a versatile guard who can run the point or play off the ball. Robinson seems like a great add as well. He’s having his best NBA season — albeit on a bad Warriors squad. He’s averaging a career-high 12.9 points in 31.6 minutes per game starting for the Dubs.

The Sixers are also not done, they’ll need to clear two roster spots before 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday or opt to waive two players.
