Porzingis was piping hot before the collision occured and had totaled 29 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in the contest before his injury was attended to. He had scored at least 35 points in each of his last two appearances, without Luka Doncic — who is recovering from an ankle injury. The Mavericks trail 100-78 heading into the fourth quarter and are on track to break their two game winning streak.
And Porzingis just checked back into the game. He apparently just had a bloody nose.
