The Sacramento Kings are trading C Dewayne Dedmon back to the Atlanta Hawks for F Jabari Parker and C Alex Len, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Sacramento is also sending two second-round picks to the Hawks in the deal. Parker has a player option for next season at $6.5M, while Len is on an expiring deal worth $4.1M. Dedmon, who had played the previous two season with the Hawks, is owed $13.3M in each of the next two seasons after 2019-20.

Fantasy basketball analysis: Dewayne Dedmon trade to Hawks

The Hawks just traded for Clint Capela with the Rockets last night. Now, they add a solid backup center to Capela who can also play PF in place of John Collins. Atlanta is really trying to get competitive to end the season, so I think these moves only boost any players left remaining on the team. Trae Young has two bigs to help him in pick-and-rolls and the Hawks should be a much tougher team defensively down low.

Parker and Len had both been out for the Hawks and it’s not clear if either will have a significant role on Sacramento once they are healthy. Neither were providing much fantasy basketball value anyway.
