St. Louis, Dallas, LA offer XFL divisional odds value heading into Week 4

XFL odds for the two division champs have arrived. We have one heavy favorite and one small favorite, but three sleeper values heading into Week 4.

St. Louis BattleHawks quarterback Jordan Ta’amu running with the ball against the New York Guardians.

The XFL kicks off Week 4 on Saturday with the Houston Roughnecks looking to remain unbeaten, the Tampa Bay Vipers looking to find their first win, and a host of teams in the middle trying to create some separation.

The biggest matchup of the weekend features the Dallas Renegades hosting Houston. The Los Angeles Wildcats will have a close eye on that game following their matchup with the New York Guardians. Only two teams in each division gets a playoff berth, and it’s a three-team race in the XFL West.

DraftKings Sportsbook has released odds on who will win each division, and there is some modest value to be had in both divisions.

XFL East

St. Louis has the tiebreaker edge over DC right now thanks to touchdown differential, but DC is still the team people see as the likely division champ. DC looked good the first two weeks and then was crushed in Week 3. St. Louis has wins against a Landry Jones-less Dallas squad and a bad New York team, but a close loss to unbeaten Houston. In Week 5, we’ll get a better handle on the BattleHawks when they travel to DC to face the Defenders.

St. Louis BattleHawks (2-1): +100
DC Defenders (2-1): -106
New York Guardians (1-2): +700
Tampa Bay Vipers (0-3): +1600

XFL West

Houston is rolling right now, and has a chance to all but lock up the division in Week 4. They travel to face Dallas, and while there will be six games remaining, a road win against Dallas will turn them from strong favorites into prohibitive favorites. However, if Dallas can get the home upset, that opens the door for a moderate sleeper contender in Los Angeles. The Wildcats stumbled out of the gate, but impressed in a blowout win over DC last week. If Josh Johnson does in fact turn into the best quarterback in the league, as some expected, they offer some value right now.

Houston Roughnecks (3-0): -200
Dallas Renegades (2-1): +250
Los Angeles Wildcats (1-2): +500
Seattle Dragons (1-2): +1200
