Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela has yet to play since being traded by the Houston Rockets ahead of the 2020 trade deadline, but he’s expected to have his nagging heel injury re-evaluated next week, according to The Athletic’s Chris Kirschner.
Atlanta also traded to bring back a familiar face Dewayne Dedmon, who has started in four of his six Hawks appearances in 2019-20.ahead of the deadline. But Capela is expected to assume a starting role once he’s in good health. The Swiss big man is averaging 13.9 points and a career-high 13.8 rebounds this season. He hasn’t played in a game since late-January.
