Here we’ll go over the top fantasy basketball and DFS targets on DraftKings for Saturday night’s six-game main slate. We’ll consider players at each position, including some other options to help you craft your lineups. This is what makes the most sense to us.
Caris LeVert, BKN @ CLT, $7,000 — LeVert has continued to thrive since Kyrie Irving left that team with a knee injury before being ruled out for the season with a shoulder injury. He’s assumed more of a playmaking role for Brooklyn and has run some point alongside Spencer Dinwiddie. LeVert has tallied more than 39 DKFP in four of his last five appearances and has faced elite defensive teams like the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers during that stretch, The Charlotte Hornets are nowhere near that level, so he should his hot streak should stay strong.
Other Options: Trae Young, ATL vs. DAL, $10,600
James Harden, HOU @ UTA, $10,900 — Harden didn’t have a hot shooting night in his revenge game against the Golden State Warriors this week, but still racked up 29 points and 10 assists while eclipsing 60 DKFP for a third straight game. He’s typically pretty good against the Utah Jazz and tallied a triple-double against them the only other time he’s faced them this year. I think he strings together another strong outing. Getting him for less than $11,000 is a good enough deal.
Other Options: Jimmy Butler, CLE at MIA, $8,200; Devin Booker, PHX vs. CHI, $7,900
Ben Simmons, PHI at MIL, $9,200 — Simmons got the day off for his team’s first day back from the All-Star break because of some hip tightness, but should be back in the mix Saturday. He entered the break having notched back-to-back triple-doubles, and the weight of his absence was felt tremendously against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, Simmons should be able to make his impact felt again in all aspects of the game now that he’s nice and rested.
Kevin Love , CLE at MIA, $7,200 — The Miami Heat are still without Meyers Leonard (ankle) and have been playing Jae Crowder at the power forward spot. Love is still an elite rebounder who should be able to take advantage of his size down low as a post scorer.
Other Options: Giannis Antetokounmpo, PHI at MIL, $11,200; John Collins, DAL at ATL, $8,400
Note: Love has been ruled out vs. the Heat due to an Achilles injury.
Deandre Ayton, PHO at CHI, $8,700 — Ayton has hovered around 20 points and 12 rebounds in recent outings. He’ll be up against a Chicago Bulls team that won’t have Wendell Carter Jr. (ankle) and might not have Luke Kornet (ankle) either. I like how he matches up against Chrisitan Felicio and Daniel Gafford. This is a chance for him to have a dominant performance.
Other Options: Rudy Gobert, HOU vs. UTA, $7,800
