The Western Athletic Conference Basketball Championship will be March 12th-14th at The Orleans in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As of now New Mexico State is the favorite to repeat as champs and get No. 1 seed, with a 12-0 record in conference play so far. As of now, there is no information about broadcast or steaming of this tournament available.

Let’s take a look at the bracket:

March 12

Game 1: No. 8 Chicago State vs No. 1 New Mexico State 3:00 p.m. ET
Game 2: No. 5 UMKC vs. No. 4 Grand Canyon 5:30 p.m. ET
Game 3: No. 7 Cal-Bakersfield vs. No. 2 UT-Rio Grande Valley 9:00 p.m. ET
Game 4: No. 6 Utah Valley vs. No. 3 Seattle 11:30 p.m. ET

March 13

Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner. 9:00 p.m.
Game 6: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner. 11:30 p.m.

March 14

Championship: Game 6 winner vs. Game 5 winner. 10 p.m.

Despite the New Mexico State Aggies great tradition in basketball, they’re in a conference right now that doesn’t match their history. NMSU as the No. 1 seed will play Chicago State in the opening game, who is the worst team in Division I by all possible rankings. It’s a one chance league, with Cal Baptist the closest possible contender for the automatic bid.
