We’re back from the NBA’s All-Star Weekend, and that means more regular season basketball. The back half of the year will be kicked off by a six-game main slate on DraftKings.
Thursday’s action will be kicked off by a matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons. The Bucks sit atop the Eastern Conference with a league-best 46-8 record. But they lost to the Indiana Pacers before the break and are looking to get back to their winning ways. The Pistons are 12th in the standings and bought out the contract of point guard Reggie Jackson, making them that much thinner in the backcourt. Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play in Milwaukee’s last game but is ready to lead a late-season push with a victory over the Derrick Rose-led Pistons.
The last game in the slate will be between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors. These two sides haven’t met since the Warriors upset the Rockets in Christmas. Houston has since added Robert Covington and Jeff Green to the mix, but sent Clint Capela to the Atlanta Hawks. Golden State moved D’Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberwolves to acquire Andrew Wiggins. These are two very different teams, and it’ll be a fun way to end the night.
