Second quarter, first half results for Super Bowl Squares, betting results

The 49ers didn’t get off to the hottest start in the second quarter. Following a Chiefs’ touchdown at the end of the first quarter, Jimmy Garoppolo threw in interception, giving KC good field position. This led to a field, putting the Chiefs up 10-3. Sammy Watkins played a key role on the drive, bring in two catches for 32 yards after he wasn’t targeted in the first quarter.

Garoppolo and the 49ers were able to bounce back. They drove down the field on the strength of their running game and capped a scoring drive with an unexpected passing touchdown to Kyle Juszczyk. The play went for 15 yards, making the fullback a great value play for Draftkings’ Showdown contests. This knotted the score at 10-10, which is the score going into the half.
