Super Bowl Sunday has arrived and the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will kick off in just over six hours. The Chiefs are a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 53.5 on game day. The money line sits at Chiefs -122 and 49ers +108.
DK’s morning betting splits have arrived, and we’ve got some interesting mixes. The Chiefs are getting the point spread love, with 66 percent of the handle and 68 percent of tickets bet on them. There was a split for the first week of betting because of one $684,000 bet, but that has evened out as more money has come in.
On the other hand, we have a split in the money line wagering. 56 percent of tickets bet are on the 49ers, but 60 percent of the handle is on the Chiefs. The 49ers were getting a majority of both for most of the past two weeks, but recent money is splitting it up.
The book will be looking for the under in a big way, and that applies to most any sportsbook offering the point total. At DK, 86 percent of the handle and 78 percent of tickets bet are on the over. It climbed as high as 54.5, but sits at 53.5 on game day.
