Tampa Bay Vipers at Seattle Dragons injury report

The Seattle Dragons host the Tampa Bay Vipers on Saturday in a Week 2 matchup of teams looking to avoid an 0-2 start to the inaugural season. Seattle hung close with DC in Week 1 before a late fumble cost them big. Tampa Bay came into the season with big expectations only to stumble in Week 1 and have the lowest scoring performance of the week.

The final injury reports are out and we have some big names this week. Most notably, Vipers quarterback Aaron Murray has been ruled out with a foot injury. Quinton Flowers will get the start in his place, a week after Murray disappointed in Week 1. Flowers completed one of two pass attempts for 37 yards last week, and rushed for 34 yards on five carries. This is a big DFS opportunity with Flowers at $7,500.

The Dragons face a big issue of their own as center Dillon Day is doubtful with a calf injury. He suffered the injury last week against Dallas and did not return. The center/quarterback exchange is a big deal, and with a brand new league where teams have only been together for seven or eight weeks, it’s all the more so. This will be worth tracking since Day seems unlikely to play on Saturday.
