Quarterback rankings for XFL Week 2

We take you through some of the best quarterbacks going into Week 2 of the XFL for fantasy football.

Welcome to the Week 2 XFL rankings. Thankfully we have some snap and usage numbers to help guide us this week, so if there isn’t a ton of turnover, we should be a little more honed in for Saturday and Sunday’s games.

Injury news will be important for quarterbacks this week, as Josh Johnson’s thigh injury didn’t allow him to practice at all last week while Landry Jones did get in limited practices most of the week. If Landry plays, he quickly becomes a strong play for a team that passed the ball 43 times to just 12 rushing attempts. He would also face a team that gave up four passing touchdowns and just fired their defensive coordinator.

Walker should remain the No. 1 quarterback until the Roughnecks show shown dents in their armor. They are the only team that showed they can convert touchdowns through the air consistently.

Jordan Ta’amu’s rushing ability has him right up there with Cardale Jones and Landry Jones. He also gets a matchup with the Roughnecks which should push him to throw and run more, much like it did for Chad Kanoff, who put up good fantasy points in Week 1 despite not playing particularly well in Houston.

Brandon Silvers started Week 1 on fire, but regressed in the second half. I’ll need to see a little consistency before feeling good about starting him.

If the Vipers were to start Quinton Flowers, he becomes a good play due to his rushing ability, but for now, Aaron Murray will remain near the bottom of the starting quarterbacks after his poor showing in Week 1.
