The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series kicks off its 72nd season on Sunday at the Daytona 500. Qualifying is underway with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. claiming pole position and Alex Bowman claiming the second spot at the start of the race.

Stenhouse and Bowman were the two fastest cars in this past Sunday’s qualifying lap and are the only two to lock in a spot for the Great American Race. The remaining lineup includes owners points qualifying and potentially some previous champs, but is primarily determined from the results of this Thursday’s Bluegreen Vacations Duels. They are two separate races, each 60 laps for 150 miles in length. The order for the Duels was determined by this past Sunday’s qualifying session.

Drivers competing in the first Duel race will line up on the inside row based on order of finish, and drives in the second Duel race will line up on the outside row.

The return of NASCAR means the return of daily fantasy sports. DraftKings offers a host of NASCAR DFS contests, all of which provide value throughout the 500 miles of racing. Points are earned for fastest laps (0.5 per lap), laps led (0.25 per lap), finishing position, and place differential (starting position minus finishing position).

We’ve got a full rundown of salaries below, topped by Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, and Chase Elliott. If you’re looking for some value, Kyle Busch is fifth highest priced, but is atop the odds-on favorite list. The qualifying results on Thursday will provide a little more insight into where the real sleepers lie.
