There are a few quarterbacks widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 14, or had successful Week 13 performances, or could benefit from an injury. With that in mind, here are five quarterbacks with under 50% rostership in traditional fantasy football leagues that managers can consider picking up for Week 14.
Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders (51 percent)
Next up — IND, LAC, MIA, @DEN
We can’t not include Carr on this list after the game he had against the New York Jets. He threw for 381 yards and three scores with a pick in Week 13. While he’s been inconsistent throughout the year he’s put up eye-popping numbers on several occasions and could boom in a big way before the regular season comes to a close. He won’t face a team as bad as the Jets again but could take advantage of a few matchups down the stretch.
Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts (40 percent)
Next up — @LV, HOU, @PIT, JAX
Rivers threw for 285 yards and two scores in one of his most efficient games of the year on Sunday and will face the Houston Texans again in two weeks. T.Y. Hilton has looked like a real WR1 over the last two weeks so the Colts’ offense could finally start firing on all cylinders.
Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers (33 percent)
Next up — DEN, @GB, @WAS, NO
The Panthers have been plagued by a Covid-19 outbreak following their Week 13 bye but will hacve Teddy Bridgewater and Christian McCaffrey. Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore are on the Covid-19 list but Bridgewater still has Robby Anderson at his disposal. Bridgewater is averaging 315 passing yards per game when McCaffrey plays so the Panthers could finish out the regular season on a high note.
Mike Glennon, Jacksonville Jaguars (3 percent)
Next up — TEN, @BAL, CHI, @IND
Glennon ha surprisingly given the Jags. chance to win every game he’s started. He’s thrown for 515 yards and three scores with two interceptions through two appearances. He’ll face a bottom 10 defense in Week 14 and could be on track to post his best stat line of the season. He’s not a a long-term pickup but could be very valuable this weekend before Jacksonville’s schedule toughens up.
