Three NFL teams who helped their Super Bowl odds after Week 13

As we inch closer towards the end of the regular season, the Super Bowl contenders are starting to appear.

We have three games left in Week 13, and now is as good a time as any to look at which teams have helped their Super Bowl odds the most. There are a solid seven or eight teams who believe they have a strong chance of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Tampa Bay in February. But out of eight teams, who is really in great position to make a magical late season and postseason run?

We will be looking at three teams performances from Week 13 and break down their odds to win Super Bowl 55. If you want to see the current league Super Bowl odds, you can check them out at DraftKings Sportsbook.

1. Green Bay Packers (from +1000 to +750)

To begin this list, we have to start with the Green Bay Packers, who have not skipped a beat since their loss last season in the NFC Championship game. Teams who lose like GB did in the title game sometimes struggle to rebound. However, when you have a quarterback and wide receiver duo such as Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, anything is possible.

Heading into their Week 13 contest against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles, the Packers’ Super Bowl odds were +1000, putting them right behind the Seahawks (+900), Saints (+550), Steelers (+660), and Chiefs (+275). However, after their dominating 30-16 win over the Eagles, the Packers leapfrogged the Seahawks and have +750 odds to win the Super Bowl.

If things continue to progress the way are, we could see Green Bay again in the NFC Championship Game taking on the New Orleans Saints, whose odds improved from +550 to +500.

2. Los Angeles Rams (from +1600 to +1200)

Heading into this season, many analysts had the NFC West going to the Arizona Cardinals, the Seattle Seahawks or the defending NFC champion, San Francisco 49ers. But fast forward three months later and the Rams are tied for first place with the Seahawks.

The Rams, who were just in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago, took a step back last season. However, they’ve played better football this season and picked up a huge victory over the Cardinals on Sunday. Heading into Week 13, Los Angeles had +1600 odds to win the Super Bowl. After their 38-28 win over Arizona, the Rams’ odds improved to +1200. If they can defeat the Patriots next week, their odds will get another boost.

3. Cleveland Browns (from +4000 to +3000)

Lastly, the Browns — yes those Browns — are actually a good football team and have a shot to make a run at the Super Bowl. Heading into their pivotal matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Cleveland’s Super Bowl odds were +4000. But their odds saw a massive uptick after they defeated the Titans 41-35, behind an impressive four-touchdown, 334-yard performance from quarterback Baker Mayfield.

As of right now, the Browns’ odds to win the entire thing is +3000. First-year head coach Kevin Stefanski has this team playing tremendous football and in any other year, would be first in the AFC North.
