D’Andre Swfit is on the Lions final injury report for Week 13. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Swift is INACTIVE for Week 13.

Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift cleared the league’s concussion protocol this week. However, he did not practice on Thursday or Friday, after getting in a limited session on Wednesday. That does not bode well for his availability this week against the Chicago Bears. He was originally listed as questionable on the final injury report, but was downgraded to doubtful Saturday afternoon.

Fantasy impact: D’Andre Swift (illness)

Swift missed the Bears’ last two games, and there was some optimism about his status this week after he cleared the concussion protocol. Curiously, he’s listed as having an illness on the injury report.

Interim head coach Darrell Bevell suggested this week that if Swift does play this week, he would have a limited role. For fantasy football purposes, it would be advisable to leave Swift out of your lineup this week. Adrian Peterson will handle the bulk of the work out of the backfield this week, giving him some fantasy appeal. He scored twice last week against Houston, picked up 55 rushing yards on 15 carries.
